Given the significant and growing demand for some of our services, we have made the difficult decision to indefinitely suspend our menopause and perimenopause consultations.

Dr. Solomon remains committed to supporting you and your doctor and she is available to provide physician-to-physician guidance via fax at 780-458-9690 or through Alethea.

Current services:

We are currently providing comprehensive care within the scope of our revised services and will continue to welcome referrals for the following physician services (covered under Alberta Health):

• pap smears

• IUD insertion/removal/replacement

• implant insertion/removal/replacement

• endometrial biopsy

• vulvar biopsies

• CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) for anxiety/panic attacks/sleep disorders/menopausal symptoms

We recognize that prolapse, incontinence and pessary fitting and care remain important and valuable services for patients in our community. To help continue supporting these patients, an experienced pelvic floor physiotherapist will be joining our team starting on July 20,2026.

The pelvic floor physiotherapist will be able to provide:

• Pelvic floor assessments

• Conservative management of prolapse and incontinence

• Pelvic floor physiotherapy

• Pessary fitting

• Pessary maintenance and cleaning

Please note that these services are unfortunately not covered by Alberta Health and would therefore be provided privately. However, many patients may have coverage for pelvic floor physiotherapy services through their extended health benefits.

Current Pelvic floor physiotherapy Fees:

Initial assessment / pessary fitting (60 minutes): $230

Follow-up appointments (30 minutes): $120

Pessary device: $120/device
